Fully soaked cork that broke in half but came out without otherwise crumbling. Medium dark garnet in colour with a hint of orange at the rim. Delicate nose of black tea, rosehip, red currant, cherry, dried rose petals and lots of bell pepper. More herbal than floral or fruity. Medium light bodied on the palate with dried rose petals, black tea, cherry, red currants and more bell pepper at the end. Elevated acidity. No tannins. Very dry on the finish that is just a bit tart. A very pleasant surprise!
