A fully mature yet still fresh nose features notes of oatmeal, mildly exotic fruit, orange and lemon peel and a hint of honeysuckle that complement the rich, powerful and solidly concentrated medium-weight plus flavors that possess excellent mid-palate sap and excellent delineation, particularly for the vintage, on the mouth coating and hugely long finish. A terrific wine that is drinking perfectly now and should continue to do so for at least another decade.
