While aromatically reticent there is appealing breadth to the intensely floral, plum and dark currant aromas that display background hints of both earth and the sauvage. There is excellent intensity and freshness to the sleek middle weight flavors that evidence soil and mineral tones on the firm, cool and beautifully well-balanced finale that delivers very fine persistence. The stems used in the vinification contribute to the notably austere impression and it's once again markedly clear that this is going to need plenty of development time.
