Whiffs of secondary character can be found on the spicy aromas of poached pear, floral and discreet lemon rind nuances. There is outstanding volume to the attractively vibrant and textured broad-shouldered flavors that exude a subtle minerality on the solidly long and complex finale. While this appears to have reached its apogee, it should be capable of holding at this level for another decade and particularly so in magnum format.
