Still very deeply colored. The ripe and softly spicy dark berry fruit aromas display additional notes of violet, plum liqueur and earth. The very rich imposiingly-scaled flavors possess outstanding concentration and evident power before culminating in a still very firmly structured, robust and wonderfully long finish. While this could be drunk now with a certain amount of pleasure, it's clear that this remains quite youthful and it wouldn't surprise me if this bruiser required another 10 years before it reaches its full maturity.
