Somewhat faded cherry color. Potent nose of floral red berries, smoked wood and eau de vie alcohol. On the palate, there is this wonderful floral note with flavors of cherries and blueberries and plenty of alcohol. Very smooth and silky texture with notes of violet flowers and allspice. Finishes very fine but perhaps lacks the complexity I expected at this point. Still, what a fine and lovely port that is hard to stop drinking. 94+
