Completely bricked through. Strong secondary with ample sous bois characterize the nose and leads to remarkably vibrant, fully mature flavors underpinned by racy acidity and a finely detailed, still potent and powerful finish that displays slightly under ripe tannins. Still, for what was essentially a miserable vintage in reds (a bit better in whites), this is flat out amazing and I would hate to taste this blind as it would indubitably pass for a better vintage. It's important to underscore that while this is not a great wine by any stretch, it's far better than it really has a right to be.
